Welcome to the Fine Art of Lindsey Leavell - please enjoy browsing her paintings and reading about her work.

Lindsey Leavell began her painting career in the 1980's after studying at the University of Colorado, Department of Fine Arts, and quickly became known for her bright colors, inspired by Mark Rothko, and her spare shapes, inspired by Milton Avery.

Her paintings, both contemporary and of the Southwest, can be seen in private collections, on the album covers of Peter Kater and R. Carlos Nakai, on magazine covers, and created as fine art greeting cards for sale throughout the US.

Now working in Colorado, she produces original paintings and fine art giclées available for purchase through her studio in Denver, the Denver Art Gallery, Abbey Lane Gallery in Creede, Colorado, and JLI Studio of Arroyo Secco, New Mexico.
